Step 1: Location of infusion port for tissue expander
Using a special magnet the subdermal infusion port is located and marked using a firm pressure.
- Tip: Use a pen to mark the point at 9, 12 and 3 o'clock

Step 2: Needle placement for saline infusion
Pierce the skin with the needle at a 90 degrees angle, and move it in depth, until it reaches resistance due to the metal plate of the infusion port.

Step 3: Infusion of saline
Infuse 50-100 ml of saline into the tissue expander.
